Quantum computers have the potential to revolutionize science, but their realization also poses complex computational challenges. This research explores how artificial intelligence (AI), specifically Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR), can help. KRR enables machines to structure and process information efficiently, and we adapt it to quantum systems by developing new ways to represent quantum states and improving reasoning algorithms for quantum circuits. Our approach enhances quantum circuit simulation and optimization, paving the way for advances in quantum computing and physics. By bridging AI and quantum computing, we aim to unlock new discoveries in this rapidly evolving field.
