Empirical Bayes applications in biomedical high-dimensional prediction
The thesis introduces three methods for high-dimensional prediction problems in the biomedical field. The methods make use of empirical and variational Bayes in the estimation.

The thesis introduces three methods for high-dimensional prediction problems in the biomedical field. The methods make use of empirical and variational Bayes in the estimation. Several applications show that the proposed methods are competitive to existing methods.
