In the Buffalo attack on the 14th of May, a 18-year-old gunman went into a grocery store in Buffalo and killed ten people. It is investigated as a racially motivated violent extremism act. The perpetrator livestreamed the event and posted a 180-page manifesto online. In this publication, Prof. Tahir Abbas, Inés Bolaños Somoano, Joana Cook, Isabelle Frens, Graig R. Klein and Richard McNeil-Willson look into this manifesto to research the motives of the perpetrator and to better understand the broader context.
