1st Leiden Alumni China event
On June 19th the first Leiden Alumni China event was held at The Shanghai Edition.
Over 50 participants attended, representing different faculties, backgrounds, and countries. The event was sponsored by DaWo Law Firm Shanghai.
Speakers at the event included Professor Hester Bijl, alumni Dr. Pai ZHENG, and Philippe Snel, MD of sponsor DaWo.
The night provided an opportunity for Leiden alumni to (re)connect and was a testament to the kinship and resilience of the Leiden alumni network coming out of the pandemic.
Leiden Alumni China Chapter
Following the success of this first event the Leiden Alumni China Chapter was formally set up to organize the alumni community in China and provide a platform for future events.
The Chapter is led by a working group consisting of alumni in Shanghai and Beijing:
Carmen Bakas, Pai ZHENG, Yuanjing LI, Yuan YUAN, Dan XU, Zi WANG, and Jip Bouman.
