Farewell Symposium John Cartwright and Inaugural Lecture Ewan McKendrick

On Monday 16 March, Ewan McKendrick will give his inaugural lecture in the Academy Building at 16:00 hrs, on Commercial Contract Law: How Important is the Quest for Certainty?

The Institute of Private Law (Leiden University) and the Institute of Anglo-American Law are going to organize a symposium on Contract Law and Legal Certainty in honour of John Cartwright, formerly professor of Anglo-American Private Law at Leiden University. The symposium is to be held on 16 March, 2020 at 13:00 hrs (Kamerlingh Onnes Building, Lorentz-auditorium). At 16:15 hrs Ewan McKendrick will accept his appointment as professor of Anglo-American Private Law by delivering his inaugural lecture, entitled Commercial Contract Law: How Important is the Quest for Certainty? (Academy Building, Groot Auditorium).
