Anna Scott delivered keynote lecture-recital at Birmingham Conservatoire (UK)
Historical approaches to the performance of solo and chamber music by Johannes Brahms.
From February 19th - 23rd Dr. Anna Scott was in residence at Birmingham Conservatoire (UK) as guest faculty for a week-long festival exploring historical approaches to the performance of solo and chamber music by Johannes Brahms. Aside from delivering a keynote lecture-recital, Anna gave two public masterclasses for advanced students working on Brahms’s solo piano works, and spent two days coaching and consulting upon student, faculty, and special guest performances of the composer's chamber works for duo, trio and quartet.
