Colloquium night - November 29th
On Tuesday the 29th of November, the SBB Studentboard organized the third SBB Colloquium Night. Max, Guido, Niek, Yiyu and Dennis presented their internships, five topics covering many facets of the Science Based Business courses.
The night started with the colloquium by Max Wijsman, who did his internship for Deloitte. His project at Albert Heijn focused on customer segmentation and market research.
Guido Israels did his internship at NFU. During this time, he looked at processes in academic hospitals, and how to visualize them.
Niek van der Kooy presented his internship at iAddress, where he looked into ways to increase the customer base in order to attract more collaborators.
Yuan Yiyu did her internship at Merck. In her colloquium, she talked about her role as a business analyst in the the Business Process & Analytics team.
Finally, Dennis van der Wiel presented his internship at KplusV, where his main focus was start-up advisory. He also presented his key skills for starting his own company.
With a big crowd turning up, this Colloquium Night was a great success. Students were inspired for their own internships, and new opportunities were discussed during the drinks afterwards.
