Science meets Business & SBB Barbecue
June 23rd was the annual Science meets Business & SBB barbecue. The event offered brilliant opportunities for SBB alumni to meet companies for internships, job openings and networking, or to just reunite with old friends.
A big part of the 150 attendees enjoyed fantastic talks during the preceding SmB café. Our own Professor Simcha Jong opened the night, after which Judith Smit from Catalyze, Dennis Schoonderwoerd from Roche Pharmaceuticals and Andreas Schuil from Genzyme presented their business models and recent developments. We would like to thank all speakers for their talks.
After the SmB café the evening turned into networking drinks and walk-in BBQ. The weather stayed calm and the barbecue was a great success. Many companies, entrepreneurs and recruiters mixed with SBB students, alumni and enthusiasts.
