Ann Bessemans sets world record: 606 words on one postage stamp

Ann Bessemans, who received her PhD degree from the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts Leiden University in 2012, has set a world record for the biggest number of words on a postage stamp.

Bessemans designed a stamp with 606 words in four languages taken from the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The font that allowed her to design this is BigVesta, designed by ACPA Professor Dr. Gerard Unger. The stamp was issued by the Belgian Post Group to mark International Women's Day 2014.
