Official launch of the Journal of the LUCAS Graduate Conference
The official presentation of the Journal of the LUCAS Graduate Conference will take place at Leiden University’s Academiegebouw on 25 January 2013, the second day of the LUCAS Graduate Conference 2013.
The first issue, to be published in February 2013, will be based on the 2011 LUCAS Graduate Conference ‘Imagining Europe: Perspectives, Perceptions and Representations from Antiquity to the Present’. The issue will focus on the modern period and explore the representation of Europe in six of the best papers presented at the conference. The six authors approach the theme from different angles and in different contexts, ranging from European cultural heritage to Turkish migration cinema to the work of the Japanese author Tawada Yōko.
