Media Technology projects awarded
On April 26, three separate projects from LIACS Media Technology group members were awarded a "Best Practices Rozet" by the Virtueel Platform organization. These distinctions are awarded as part of the campaign "Lintjesregen 2012", in recognition of being among the 35 most innovative and inspiring Dutch digital media products.
These three projects are:
- "Room Racers", by Media Technology student Lieven van Velthoven
- "Globe4D", by former Media Technology students Danica, Rick, Nico and Hanco.
- "Evolving Spark Network", by LIACS colleague Edwin van der Heide
Virtueel Platform was the sectorinstitute for e-culture appointed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Its mission was to stimulate and strengthen cultural innovation by sharing knowledge about e-culture and increasing its visibility and scope.
