Events, Workshops and Newsletter
LUCDH presents a lunchtime talk once a month. Invited speakers have presented on mapping historical Leiden, modeling with qualitative and quantitative data, the place of data science in art history, linguistics research, and visualization and digital storytelling amongst other topics. Leiden University staff and students are welcome to attend. Register for these talks with an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
LUCDH facilitates workshops (once every two months) that promote the acquisition of skills and knowledge in employing digital tools. Workshops in Python and QGIS have proved highly popular. It is therefore advisable to register quickly once you see notification of a workshop on Twitter, or on our website, or in our newsletter!
The newsletter gathers information on lectures, workshops, call for papers, conferences, symposiums, etc., relevant to research in digital humanities at Leiden University. If you wish to be placed on the mailing list for our newsletter (or wish to be removed from the mailing list) or you have an event on an aspect of digital humanities that you would like shared with a wider audience, please email: email@example.com with your request and subject line 'newsletter'.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our online or in-person events soon!
