Are you wondering what being a student is actually like at LUC? Do you have some burning questions for our current students? Then, this event is just for you! By joining LUC as a Student for a Day, you will accompany one of our current students to a class and get to experience LUC as a true student.

What is Student for a Day?

Student for a Day is the perfect opportunity for you to experience the learning environment at LUC and become familiar with our “Global Challenges” theme. A student ambassador will show you around our campus before dropping you off to to a first-year lecture.

Who can join?

The Student for a Day event is intended for students in their last years of high school (6th and 5th year of the Dutch VWO programme; IB 1 or 2, or a similar level within other educational systems). You are welcome whether or not you have already submitted an application to LUC. We recommend attending another event, such as an open day or webinar, beforehand, or reading our website to understand what the programme is all about before joining.

How does it work?

Student For a Day is on offer throughout the year, but schedules vary depending on which classes are available. At the registration link below, you can see which classes are currently available. New dates will be added in late October!

Please note: due to availability, we are currently only offering the “Global Challenges” lectures for Student for a Day. These lectures do not represent the standard teaching method at LUC (small-scale, seminar, discussion-based), but will give you a sense of the themes and interdisciplinary approach that sets our programme apart.
