About the master International Children’s Rights
The Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in International Children’s Rights (LL.M.) is the only programme in Europe that offers a legal degree fully focused on children’s rights. It provides in-depth knowledge of how children’s rights are protected, promoted and implemented worldwide — from international law to regional and national levels.
In this programme, you will explore key legal and ethical questions such as:
- What are the rights of children when it comes to forced marriage or protection against violence and exploitation?
- How do refugee children’s rights apply in host countries?
- How can children’s rights be enforced through international legal mechanisms?
- How do digital technologies affect the protection and participation of children?
The programme also pays close attention to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and its real-world implementation.
