About the event
For this rare event we have invited two foreign correspondents for Dutch national broadcaster NOS, who will share their experiences with our students at the Den Haag Campus. Laura van Megen (correspondent China, Taiwan, Korea) and Anoma van der Veere (correspondent Japan) will share their views on recent developments in East Asia, as well as specific reporting they have done recently. In a freewheeling discussion we hope to learn more about the realities of reporting from these East Asian nations. This will be a unique opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about recent political developments in the region, or about the work of a foreign correspondent.
The event will be moderated by Leiden University's Casper Wits, and most of the time will be reserved for Q&A and discussion with the audience. The event will be held in English, it is open to all and no registration is needed.
