Decoding DNA Grammar Using Genomic Language Models

Ahmed Mafouz is an Assistant Professor at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC).

His lab develops machine learning and statistical methods for high-throughput genomic data. They are interested in unraveling how genetic and environmental factors influence the molecular state of individual cells in normal and disease processes with applications in neuroscience and immunology. The lab is are located at the Human Genetics Department of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC).
