Dutch Alumni Bay Area Event

We’re back with another exciting Holland in the Valley Alumni Event! Join us on Thursday, 16th May 2024 from 5:30-9:00 PM at the Netherlands Consulate in San Francisco to connect with fellow alumni and academic entrepreneurs from Dutch research universities.

On the occasion of The Academic Startup Competition, this year’s alumni event is hosted in collaboration with Techleap and the Netherland-America Foundation’s NorCal chapter. Through the panel discussion, gain valuable insights into the tech industry landscape, career pathways, and the impact of academic initiatives like Internships in the Valley and Techleap’s Academic Startup Competition.

Discover the Internships in the Valley program, a unique initiative that guides master's/PhD students and recent graduates to find paid internships at companies in the US. The program is actively seeking mentors and new partner companies, so take this as an opportunity to connect with young talent and give back to the Dutch community in the Bay Area.

Let’s reconnect with fellow alumni from your own Leiden University, Utrecht University, Maastricht University, University of Amsterdam, and VU Amsterdam. Hosting over 1,200 alumni of Dutch universities in the Bay Area, the Holland in the Valley network serves as a vital link between the Netherlands and Silicon Valley.
