About the speaker

Manal Daddah is a Middle Eastern Studies student at Leiden University who is deeply involved in Spoken Word. She occasionally performs with both English and Dutch texts. Her writing covers various topics, including identity and a sense of belonging. Additionally, she participates in the PoetryCircle program, where she strives to translate the knowledge gained into a more accessible approach to Spoken Word. This POPtalk provides interested students with the opportunity to learn more about Spoken Word and how to incorporate this creative form of writing and expression into daily life.
