ECIS 10

The European Conference of Iranian Studies (ECIS) is one of Europe’s largest conferences in Iranian Studies. It is held every four years and organized by the Societas Iranologica Europaea (SIE). The tenth edition of the conference ECIS 10 will be hosted by Leiden University in the Netherlands and will take place from 21 to 25 August 2023.

Call for papers

ECIS 10 will cover a wide range of topics related to Iranian Studies including philology, linguistics, literature, history, religious and cultural studies, art and architecture, archaeology, philosophy and anthropology.

We welcome abstracts of no more than 1500 characters or panel proposals that can be sent by 31 January 2023 to the academic committee via the submission form on the Conference website.
