Hello everyone! Next week we will be celebrating the holiday Purim, and we would like to invite you to celebrate with us!.
Purim is the commemoration of the salvation of the Jewish people from genocide at the hands of Haman in the Persian Empire. We celebrate by retelling the story of the holiday and getting together for feasts and costume parties. This year, it seems appropriate to emphasize another way we celebrate Purim, the act of charity. We are deeply saddened by the recent earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria and would like to take this opportunity to help those who are affected.
Therefore, we invite you to our stand at the front hall at Lipsius, on Wednesday the 8th of March to taste our home baked Orejas de Haman/Hamantaschen to celebrate Purim with us by helping our brothers and sisters in Turkey and Syria.
