ALFA New Year’s lectures and drinks: Thursday February 16th
After a period of radio silence we are happy to announce that ALFA will resume organising interesting events open to all former students, PhD students, postdocs, professors, and other staff members of the Leiden Faculty of Archaeology, aiming to connect alumni with current staff and students.
To celebrate our comeback, we would like to cordially invite you for drinks, following a speed-lecture. The talk is given by Anique Hamelink, PhD Ancient History at UvA on Mediterranean fashion trends in Gallic clothing. Recent finds in France shed new light on how “Roman” people dressed in our regions.
So we hope to see you Thursday February 16th, at the Van Steenis building, Leiden. Doors open at 17.00 hrs, the lecture will start at 17.30 hrs. Then we can have drinks and some bites until 19:30 hrs.
