QUI WHO ÊTES ARE VOUS les Louviérvoix ?

In her work, Eleni Kamma explores the notion of parrhesia, the courage to speak one’s mind, which she approaches from a comedic and excessive perspective. Echoing Pol Bury and André Balthazar's Daily-Bul magazine, Eleni questioned the people of La Louvière about their identity. Who are they? What is La Louvière? Could it be claimed? Could it be written? Could it be worn? Between collective creation and cultural heritage, the people of La Louvière, past and present, find themselves in this collaborative exhibition, defined by a tenuous relationship between surrealist heritage, industrial landscape, working-class history and Carnival in clogs!
