Evening at the Observatory

Every month there is an opportunity to visit the Old Observatory in the evening. These open evenings consist of a lecture followed by a visit to the telescopes in the building.

These monthly meetings are organised by the amateur astronomy society WLS. Every month, the passionate members of this society welcome visitors who would like to see the Old Observatory in the evening.

The evenings last from 20:00 to 21:30 and participation costs only 4 euros. This includes coffee or tea. To participate in the evening, it is important that you sign up. This can be done with the registration form. Here you can select which evening you come, with how many people and whether you want to be present at both the lecture and the visit to the telescope, or only at the lecture.

For the next open evening, you can look in our agenda. Please note that these evenings are generally only available in Dutch.
