Old Observatory Leiden

The Old Observatory will be open to the public again starting from September 13

Old Observatory Leiden

The Old Observatory Leiden is the oldest remaining university observatory in the world. This historical monument still plays an educational role for the University and the city of Leiden.

On this website you will find information about the history of the observatory, as well as information about visits, the visitors centre, guided tours, events and the local amateur astronomy societies.

From February 15th until May 31st we'll be showing the new exhibition, that is all about the 'Drake Equation'.
