COVID-19 regulations
This message is to inform you about the current situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Especially when arriving from abroad, the situation here may be different from what you are used to at home.
The coronavirus has not disappeared. However, the number of cases in the Netherlands is currently very low, and the virus is now treated similarly to other respiratory viruses. The government has abolished all measures regarding the testing and isolation of symptomatic and non-symptomatic people, with the exception of the advice below. Testing is not needed anymore. The disease has lost its 'special' status and cases of corona are no longer reported to the health services. There are currently no measures to prevent the spread of this virus (or other viruses) on campus or anywhere else. If you have any concerns, we invite you to talk to your RA or to the Student Life Officer.
On this website you can read more about the government policies and advice.
The only advice still valid is the general advice to prevent the spread of viruses and protect the vulnerable among us:
- Stay home if you are ill (as in case of any other illness as well)
- If you have symptoms but feel well enough to attend class, consider wearing a face mask to protect others
- Wash hands often, ventilate often.
We wish you a healthy and happy period ahead!
