Creating a sustainable Humanities Campus

During the development of the Humanities Campus, as many 'green choices' as possibile are being made. This concerns the buildings as well as the surrounding area. Making the campus more sustainable is measured using the BREAAM.NL method.

Ranging from internal improvements to renovations and new constructions: all of this requires customization in terms of making the university more sustainable. Making buildings sustainable, heating and cooling in an energy efficient way and creating a sustainable environment are all part of this. Read more about how we shape sustainability on the Humanities Campus on the pages under the submenu.

BREEAM

Using the assessment method BREEAM-NL, we can measure our sustainability performance. With this method, the process of making the university more sustainable becomes visible. Want to know more?

At Cluster Zuid, we aim for BREEAM-NL certificate Excellent (four out of five stars) by carefully applying a wide range of sustainability aspects during the entire construction process. Read more about how we make this building more sustainable on the Cluster South subproject page.
