Would you like to contribute to making Leiden University more sustainable?
Become a member of the Leiden University Green Office (LUGO)! Together with your fellow students, you form the platform for sustainability within the university, and a springboard for all kinds of ideas, activities, and initiatives.
A role where you will learn a lot about sustainability, from organizational context and policy to community building and communication. A valuable experience alongside your studies, where you can truly make an impact.
What you will do
We are looking for a total of five team members. Together with the members who will remain with LUGO for another year, you will form a close-knit team working on a variety of projects. Each team member will have their own focus area, but you apply for the general role of team member; the focus areas will be assigned later.
- Coordination (1 position): You are strategically minded, able to maintain overview, stimulate energetic collaboration, and step in where needed.
- Projects (1 position): You have creative ideas and enjoy collaborating with people in the organization.
- Community (2 positions): You recognize promising initiatives, inspire people with enthusiasm, and build a network around sustainability.
- Communication (1 position): You enjoy writing texts, creating visual content, and maintaining contact with communication colleagues.
You don’t need to be able to do everything yet; it’s also a learning process.
