Vision

LUGO has two main objectives:  

1. Structurally integrate sustainability in Leiden University’s education, research, and facilities.
2. Foster a culture of sustainability in the community of staff and students at Leiden University.

Mission

How are we turning our vision into reality? By:

1. Enhancing sustainability visibility and engagement among students and staff, connecting the university community with green initiatives and opportunities for participation
2. Building a sustainability knowledge hub through different tools and our network, that empowers faculties to integrate sustainability transitions
3. Ensuring long-term impact and continuity by strengthening institutional memory and fostering lasting partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
