Submission of exams and quality check process

Quality check

After the lecturer(s) have created exam questions they will have to go through the quality check procedure. Around 3 weeks before the exam they will be asked to submit the questions for quality check. The quality check is done by the tutor coordinator and by either the coordinator of the course (if it's a core course) or by the area tutor responsible for a certain area. They check that the questions are grammatically correct, clear, logically sound and non-ambivalent. If the quality check does not require any changes the exam is then forwarded to the administration for printing. If some errors or potential confusing elements are noticed, changes are suggested and the revised version is sent back to the lecturer(s) to confirm. After the lecturer(s) accept the changes and if no additional errors are noticed the exam is sent to the administration.
