Identities and Inequalities

Research in this thematic area addresses contemporary global transformations around identity, often involving issues of structural inequality. Aspects covered include class, gender, indigeneity, nationality, race, religion, sexuality, and youth, as well as questions on their intersectionality. Affiliated researchers have expertise in different fields, such as anthropology, gender studies, international relations, law, political science, and post- and decolonial studies.
