Want to join the discussion on the future of Leiden University? Sign up for the consultation session on October 12 (17.30 – 19.30) below.
Leiden has one of the most petrified inner-cities of The Netherlands. This is not beneficial for the biodiversity crisis and Leiden University, with a significant number of buildings within the Singels. The priority should be to make a positive impact on the matter.
Are you passionate about writing and sustainability? Do you feel like sharing your talent with the rest of the university? This is your chance!
We at LUGO have partnered up with HOP to bring some delicious vegan food through our cooking Livestream on Instagram on Wednesday, 25th August starting at 18:30.
Are you passionate about sustainability? Do you see opportunities to make Leiden University more sustainable? Are you able to inspire, engage and empower students and staff to cooperate? This is your chance to contribute and work on organising events, creating podcast and expanding our brand!
We, as LUGO, believe that with simple everyday actions we can prevent large amounts of single-use plastic water bottles from entering our oceans.
Leiden University needs to become the sustainability frontrunner of the Dutch universities, the co-participation and the Leiden University Green Office (LUGO) call for. This means that sustainability needs to be further integrated into education and research, as well as the university’s business operations.
Always wanted to give your input on sustainability for the university's new Strategic Plan? Join LUGO's discussion session!
Want to have your say on the future of Leiden University? On our teaching, research and the organisation itself? Register for one or more online meetings on 25 and 28 June and you’ll be able to discuss this with other students and staff.
Although the weather in the Netherlands will always be unpredictable, June might be the month to say with certainty that the temperatures will be pleasing enough for a ride on your bicycle. Aside from the benefits for your (mental) health, you will also make a positive impact on the environment. Start cycling, try out an e-bike and win a fitbit on Leiden University's World Bike Day 2021!
