Party on the Longest Day of the Year
Midsummer night takes place on June 21, the longest day of the year. To celebrate this, the Hortus Botanicus Leiden organises a big party! During this party you can enjoy all kinds of interesting foods, drinks, music performances, workshops and much more!
At the Old Observatory there is also something to do during the midsummer night. Between 20:00 and 00:00 there will be guided tours to the telescopes and there is the possibility to follow a show in our inflatable planetarium. Free tickets for the tours and planetarium can be picked up at the Old Observatory Visitor Center.
