Term Dates and Schedule

Our Dutch courses aim to provide students with language skills in Dutch, which they can use in everyday life. The courses focus on speaking skills. It is important to note that the certificate provided upon successful completion of the course, is not officially acknowledged in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Term dates and schedule:

The term will start June, 11 2023 and end 30 July 2023.

The courses total 20 lessons, each lesson is 2 hours (40 hours), 3 days per week, spread over 7 weeks. (Eid break considered)

This summer 4 levels will be offered. Classes are on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday.

  • Level 1 afternoon class from 3:30 – 5:30
  • Level 2 evening class from 6 - 8 p.m
  • Level 3 evening class from 6 - 8 p.m
  • Level 4 evening class from 8- 10 p.m

First lesson: Sunday, 11 June 2023
Last lesson: Sunday, 30 July 2023
Written Exam: Thursday, 27 July 2023
Oral Exam: Sunday, 30 July 2023

Assessment, testing and certification:

Class work and homework will be marked and evaluated throughout the course and a test will be held at the end of each course. Your marks and your test results will help the teacher to decide whether you should go to the next level or whether you need further practice at your present level. End of course certificates will be given to all students. These do NOT have, however, any official value in the Netherlands.

Language of instruction:

The courses will be taught using English, NOT Arabic.
A good command of spoken and written English is therefore required.

Fees:

The fees for this course: EGP 1,700.- (includes all required materials).

Payment in full is required at the time of registration. 

The minimum number of students for each course is 8, maximum number 15.

If the minimum number of 8 students has not been reached, fees will be refunded to the students.

Registration

Monday 29 May, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon only.

Please bring the course fees in cash, on the day of registration. Registration is on a first come, first serve base.

An interview to assess your level of English is part of the registration process for the beginners course.

Please bring your vaccination certificate and the course fees on the day of registration.
