Ahmed Hassan is a PhD candidate at Indiana University. He earned his M.A. from George Washington University and his B.A. from Al-Azhar University. His research revolves around exploring the national sentiments within medieval Islam, particularly in Egypt. His focus lies in elucidating how medieval Egyptian historians conveyed regionalism through their local histories.
