LUGO Discussion: Sustainability in Leiden University
Always wanted to give your input on sustainability for the university's new Strategic Plan? Join LUGO's discussion session!
On June 28 from 11:00-12:00, LUGO organises an ‘open discussion & input session’ about sustainability in Leiden University's education, operations and research. We invite you to share thoughts and ideas about these topics and to contribute to the university's new Strategic Plan! The Strategic Plan serves as a guideline for the policy choices of the coming years to make existing processes future-proof. Within new Strategic Plan, it’s important that all voices are represented, especially those of students. The input of the attending students is not only valuable for the developers of the Strategic Plan, it also largely serves as input for impactful projects LUGO can start the upcoming year.
Examples of discussion statements LUGO provides are about sustainability on your faculty, going abroad for exchange and green labels in the cafés. Do you want more sustainability-related topics integrated in your studies, or are you in favour of refunding exchange costs if you travel abroad by train? Come along and contribute to a sustainable, future-proof university!
