Before diving into the good news, we would like to emphasize that as of now, all the MAAS university coffee machines do accept cups with an inner white layer. This means that if your mug has any other color than white, the sensor will not recognize it and therefore not give you your well deserved coffee. We are happy to announce that as of September 2020 Leiden University will be starting a pilot where coffee machines will accept your own coffee mugs!
