Six PhD defences in eight weeks
Wow! Between September and November, six alumni of the Media Technology MSc program defend their PhD thesis. Five at Leiden University, one at Delft University of Technology. It is quite special how these all coincide within a short time.
What makes it even more special is that four of the candidates did their PhD research at the LIACS institute, while a fifth works at LIACS as a lecturer.
