Emotions Workshop (Groningen)
Prof. Louise D’Arcens (Macquarie University, Sydney) will lead a workshop on 'Transhistorical Emotions and Medievalism’ on 11 January 2023 at the University of Groningen. D’Arcens, affiliated with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, studies which emotions are involved in our dealings with the medieval past. The study of such ‘transhistorical emotions’ stands at the heart of this workshop.
