MDCK epithelial cells cultured in collagen gels for 7 days were then exposed to +/- HGF and cultured for a further 4 days. Cells were fixed and labeled with rhodamine phalloidin to label f-actin. HGF treatment induces branching morphogenesis (tubulogenesis).
