Leiden University has quite a number of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with institutions in Latin America and Caribbean Region. Moreover, many student exchange agreements have also been signed with the objective to stimulate bilateral student exchange.  These agreements are required at Bachelor and Master level. For PhD’s no agreement is needed, except in cases of cotutelle which requires specific agreements for each case between the hosting universities. 

Here follows a list of the general Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) that Leiden University signed with Latin American and Caribbean partners.  The list only show the formal agreements. Over the years, many other important relationships have been developed between Leiden and LAC partners.
