In Memoriam: Prof. Em. Fred Leemhuis

Dear friends of the NVIC, Yesterday morning, the terrible news reached us that professor Fred Leemhuis, former director of the NVIC, passed away after a short illness in Groningen. He was a great and beloved friend of our institute. We wish his wife Vreni, his sons Rob and Benni and their wives, his grandchildren and his many friends all the strength to cope with this terrible loss. We will not forget Fred.
