After hearing about the pharaonic civilization in six lectures at the institute, Marleen took the group on excursions to the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir and to Saqqara to bring theory into practice. Everybody braved the burning sun at Saqqara last Saturday on one of the hottest days of the year, and marvelled at Old and New Kingdom tombs, including the new ones that were only opened last week. We will organise this course again next year, so stay tuned if you missed your chance to join in this year.
