Dear friends of the institute,

To take our responsibility towards you, our students and our personnel, we have decided to close our library to minimize the risks of COVID-19 (Corona) virus infections. This means that film screenings and lectures have been cancelled for the coming period of three weeks, until we have had an opportunity to assess the situation as it develops in Egypt. During this period, the library will also be closed during the daytime. This measure has been taken with the full support of Leiden University, who are the leading institution of our institute. We apologize that we have had to take this decision, but we feel it is a good and necessary one. We hope you will all stay in good health!
