Want to learn a new language? Join the Tandem Learning Project of KU Leuven!
The basic idea of the tandem project is to give two language learners who speak different native languages the opportunity to learn each other's language in a friendly atmosphere. Besides improving their language skills, participants in this project can also extend their intercultural knowledge.
The tandem project
The tandem project is available for 40 languages. Native speakers of these languages are paired with students studying these languages at the Faculty of Arts (Linguistics & Literature programme) or at the KU Leuven Language Institute (ILT). Note that native speakers are also welcome to participate even if they don’t want to learn or speak Dutch.
