About the Event

On behalf of the Program Board of the International Studies program, we would like to re-extend the invitation to engage in a conversation with Dr Jeff Fynn-Paul about his book ‘Not Stolen; The Truth about the Colonization of North America’. Prof Jaap Verheul (Special Chair Transatlantic Relations Radboud University and Associate Professor of Transatlantic History Utrecht University) has kindly agreed to act as discussant. Dr Fynn-Paul’s book has triggered a large number of questions from among the students and we would like to offer them the opportunity to engage in a discussion with the author. The book is now available in the university library and can be accessed online, using the Leiden credentials. We warmly recommend taking a look at the book before the discussion seminar. Chair Prof Andre Gerrits will act as facilitator of the conversation. Dr Fynn-Paul will introduce a series of propositions based on his work and Prof Verheul will offer a rebuttal. There will be plenty of time to engage with both speakers.
