This month’s theme: climate anxiety

Sometimes we are worried or even feel anxiety about climate change and its consequences for planetary and human health. Especially when it feels like not enough is being done, we can feel powerless and overwhelmed. We call this climate anxiety.

Maurtis van der Heijde is climate psychologist and board member of the Climate Psychology Foundation. With a background in both Environmental Sciences and Psychology, Maurits is an expert is climate behavior and climate anxiety. In this sessions we will talk with Maurits about the essence of climate anxiety, its emergence and what you can do if you experience these feelings. Together we can transform our climate anxiety into climate motivation!
