Education

LIAS faculty teach and carry out thesis supervision in many programs.

Courses cover all modalities, from small-group specialized seminars to large, full-cohort lectures, and from language acquisition modules to cross-disciplinary courses on theory, issues, and methods in Area Studies. As is true for our research, our teaching happens at the intersection of disciplinary / thematic work and specialist regional expertise. We frequently work together with colleagues elsewhere in Humanities, in the Law Faculty and in the Social Science Faculty.
