Prof Janz is Professor in Evolutionary Insect Ecology and head of the Ecology division at the Department of Zoology of Stockholm University (SE). His research group investigates the ecological and evolutionary interactions between butterflies and their host plants. Most of the research focuses on understanding the evolutionary dynamics of host plant range, host shifts, and speciation. And in particular, how these phenomena are interrelated.
