The publish-review-curate model for scientific publishing
Interest in the publish-review-curate (PRC) model for scientific publishing is rapidly increasing. In this talk, Ludo Waltman will introduce the PRC model and will reflect on its strengths and limitations. Ludo will present a new project for strengthening infrastructures for PRC in the Netherlands, with a special focus on opportunities for researchers at Leiden University. Broader developments around PRC at the national, European, and global level will be discussed as well. Finally, we will discuss concrete ways in which researchers and research communities at Leiden University can start experimenting with the PRC model.
