What's Next? Interactive and immersive design

For the next "What’s Next?" talk series we welcome Sabrina Verhage and Casper Schipper, two Media Technology alumni working in the field of interactive and immersive design. They will talk about what makes an outstanding design experience, and how their lives have been after graduating as a MSc in Media Technology.

With the What's Next? series we hope to inspire current Media Technology students, show the variety of paths taken after the studies, and bring together alumni. Editions of the series are generally organized around a particular theme.

These talks are organised by Media Technology students themselves, and followed by social drinks.

Sabrina VerhageCreative Technologist at Tellart, an international design consultancy, and co-founder of Creative Coding Amsterdam, a platform open for live coding performances. She graduated from the Media Technology MSc program in 2015 on a thesis work that uses a drawing robot in public space to stimulate chance encounters.

Casper SchipperDesigner and Humane Technologist at Superposition, an experimental design studio based in Arnhem. He is also teaching ‘Design with Machines’ at ArtEZ Institute of Arts. For his 2009 Media Technology MSc thesis, he wrote a popular science book on perception.
